Driving A Session Well

I found this post on another blog and it is very thorough and interesting, please also visit them - https://cyberestim.blogspot.com/2019/04/driving-well.html

Being a good driver

Driving someone's E-stim unit is not like driving to the grocery store. The goal is not to get there as quickly and efficiently as possible. Its more like taking a leisurely drive in the country. The drive along the way is more important then the destination. I know males are predominantly orgasm focused, and finishing with an orgasm is important; however, the route along the way makes a big difference in how satisfying the session can be.

If you want to be a good driver, then take the time to learn how. If you want a good driver, then take the time to help someone become a good driver.

Who likes to drive?

I do not really know. Personally, I do not find driving very appealing. Its hard work, and I do not get much satisfaction from watching the male member reacting to stimulation. There are individuals that like to drive. The key is finding someone willing to learn how to drive well.

What is the essence of driving?

What is the appeal of being driven? Essentially, it is a power exchange. Someone else is in charge of what sensation you are experiencing. Someone else is in charge of how long the session will last. Someone else is determining the nature of your session; tender or aggressive. You get to relax and enjoy the ride. Mentally, you can find yourself falling in a hyper-relaxed state, just riding wave after wave of stimulation. You can't do that, and adjust the settings yourself.

What are you responsible for?

As with any power exchange session, communication is key. You need to be ready to provide a lot of information to the driver. With E-stim, part of the information you need to provide are the setting limits you are willing to experience (including whether or not the driver is permitted to push your limits a bit). Besides for settings, you need to communicate with your potential driver the type of session you want. Be prepared for the fact that what your needs do not fit with what the driver wants. Some drivers are looking for a Dominant/Submissive relationship, and not necessarily as straight forward Top/Bottom scene. A Top will control your E-stim unit. A Dom will impose complete control over you. He/She will want to make you cry in pain, make you beg for mercy, make you say and even do humiliating things. There is nothing wrong with that, assuming its what you want. However, I have encountered some Doms that are just pure sadist assholes. Sadists assholes and E-stim are not a good mix. Those units have literally have the power to do damage let alone inflict significant pain.

The key takeaway here is to explicitly discuss scene expectations. Start simple, and build complexity. Do your part to test and document setting parameters.

Tips for good driving

I cannot take all the credit for these tips. I began with giving my current driver some basic direction, however, her intuition and dedication has taken E-stim control to a new level. I started with giving my current driver, MD, a list of preferred settings and intensity ranges for each mode available on the 2B unit. I encouraged her to regularly change modes, and to give me short breaks in-between modes. This would increase my sensitivity for the next set of stimuli and reduce the chances of an unintended orgasm as it would also back me away form the point of release.

What she did beyond this is purely divine. She will spend 5 to 10 minutes on a mode, but all the while, she is constantly altering the settings (rate and feel) as well as the intensities of the two channels. The result is that my receptor cells have no opportunity for habituation. Some days she is in a light teasing mood, and other days she aggressively attacks my cock. Most session last about two hours. During that time, I experience a force erection and continuous leakage of pre-cum. When she has had enough, she lets me orgasm.

Cultivate and Reward

Spend the time to cultivate drivers. When my driver does not seem to be around, I will let someone else do the driving, but only as an opportunity to learn. That means doing a lot of continuous feedback. It can be tiring. If the driver is just interested in doing it his/her way, I usually just let them know that I respect their desire, but I am not the right bottom for that and they should look for someone else. Most people are grateful for the opportunity to learn how to control the 2B unit.

How do you reward a driver? I would not make the mistake of thinking that driving is its own reward. Yes, they are interested in doing it, otherwise they would not have initiated. But that does not mean you should take them for granted. There is nothing offensive in showing a bit of gratitude or tribute. Don't be an ungrateful little snot. My method of choice for tribute is an Amazon gift certificate. I have yet approached my current driver with an offer of a gift, but I should do so at some point. I do appreciate what she does for me.
